----I can't remember the guys name (Jim something I think, he's passed on) that owned this pair along with a whole bunch of other cars and boats. He was from the Dayton Ohio area. I met him at a wood boat restoration place here in Marine City MI years ago. The car was, I believe, a Barris concoction and the boat is a rare Chris Craft 21ft Cobra. He modified the Cobra from its original livery and pretty much destroyed its value, but the guy was so wealthy he probably just didn't care. The fin on the Cobra was the 1st use of fiberglass by Chris Craft. Original 21 Cbras are worth well over $100,000!....Bill S

https://www.autoweek.com/car-life/cl...golden-sahara/ He owned a local business security company, Radar Sentry I believe, and was into electronics. The car could be remote controlled to drive unattended and supposedly had on-board radar systems.

If you’re going to land on a car would be hard to beat a 59 Chevy .

That's crazy that it just balanced right there. The car must have been going the right speed for that smooth landing and the trunk is about the size of a small airport...
