I might have one of those. I'll check when I get out to my shop.

That is a functional replacement, but not assembly line correct.

The one in post 3 is correct, and shows the correct connector. MOST of those connectors were removed in favor of a female spade connector when the sender was replaced.

Yeah, I knew it wasn't right. I was just showing what I have. I thought it was the other one.

Would like to help out the OP, but also want to be fair.

I have three of the "pin" type senders for lights only.

1. I have a take off from a 69 Z that I BELIEVE was original to the car. It comes with the white plastic covered connector. I won't sell the sender separate from the connector. Stamped on the side with "AC 357M" One dot stamped in prior to the AC.

I posted a few years ago, and no one could verify if this were an assembly line sender.

I have two NOS senders with pins.

One is stamped "AC 248M" with three dots after the M.

The third one LOOKS identical to the other two, but does not have an AC stamp. It is also NOS, never been installed. Stamped with what looks like HS 248M followed by 2144.

Looks identical in every way, and was in an AC Delco box from the early 90s.

First pic is what an original looks like when installed.

2 and 3 are the used one.

4 and 5 are the NOS stamped AC.

6 is the other NOS one with the odd stamping.

Once installed it would be virtually impossible to know which is which.
