Came across this statement on that thread (which I find hard to believe)
"Mopar used a dart BBC block, crank and rods and bolted their B-2 heads on them."

Are you talking about the Wayne County Pro Stock car?

Freddie: The entire quote is:
During the Wayne county era, Mopar used a dart BBC block, crank and rods and bolted their B-2 heads on them.

Bore spacing isn't even the same. I also heard a guy bragging about putting Ferrari heads on a 50's Cadillac V8, but not sure if i believe either one.

Has anyone on the board owned a raw casting and had it machined to use?Over the years I have owned a few pontiac raw alu castings and no one wanted to machine them.Got one quote for 10K and he decided after thinking about would not even do it for the 10.Sold them all and never found out if any of the buyers actually got one done.Tom
