Re: 1969 Camaro ZL1 motor
I love what he's done with his yard: the Arizona property is set up with a vintage orange Camaro, some terra cotta pots, cacti, etc. Very artsy indeed.

1969 Camaro + ZL1 motor
'
Subject VIN 124379N508903 Way cool car but I'd expect it and the ZL1 lump would probably do better sold separately too? ~ Pete -------------------------------------------------------- eBay # 262784308084 Item specifics Condition: Used Year: 1969 VIN 124379N508903 Mileage: 74,000 Number of Cylinders: 8 Make: Chevrolet Transmission: Automatic Model: Camaro Body Type: Coupe Trim: STYLE Warranty: Vehicle does NOT have an existing warranty Engine: 427 ZL1 Vehicle Title: Clear Drive Type: RWD Fuel Type: Gasoline For Sale By: OWNER Exterior Color: Orange Disability Equipped: NO Interior Color: Black - For Sale, Barn find Code 72-72 Hugger Orange 1969 Camaro with all aluminum ZL1 427 engine in the trunk. Informally known as the Mexican ZL1 spent its life in the Southwest desert and frequently made trips to mexico until 1974 when it was parked and left to retire with its bullet hole in the roof who knows the full story of this 69? This is what I do know, The car has the kinda patina that people dream about and appears to be original paint .. It would be cool to build the car and leave the body and paint as-is with an old day 2 super car vintage vibe.. it has a clean Arizona title, It has new wheels and tires as the old ones were long gone, it appears to be originally a 327 automatic car, engine is long gone, transmission still hanging, And the best part of all is what was hiding in the trunk... 1970 ZL-1 aluminum 427 engine, with fuel pump boss and 074 heads and snowflake intake manifold.. It appears to have been rat holed away for a project that never got started. The car is rust free except for small spots behind rear wheels. More importantly the trunk, pans, and chassis, are Arizona dry desert clean clean. Due to dry desert heat the interior is rough.. What a great car and amazing find, Imagine the possibilities! Sold as a full package will not separate engine. Low reserve listed to sell bid accordingly to win this super cool "Mexican ZL-1 project clone" Sold-AS IS where is, paypal deposit $1,000 within 24 hours, full payment wire transfer or cash due within 5 days of auction close. Transportation available no problem! Andy question please email me at - ========================================

Re: 1969 Camaro + ZL1 motor
Looks to me like one of Mike Kaisers listings. Cave Creek is right down the street from where he lives and I think that's the same 69 car tucked away in the background of the red Chevelle picture he has listed for sale right now.
https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/ubbt...hp-#Post685601 I wonder what he wants out of this one and was planning on calling him about the car.

Re: 1969 Camaro ZL1 motor
That whole thing is BS about the motor. I was one of the first in that yard and looked the car over good. Trust me there wasn't a ZL-1 motor in the trunk.
