Default Freedom Battery Toppers

A small run of Freedom battery toppers were made, they are $75 plus $15 priority ship, insured, F/F PayPal if used please,
1976-1987 approx, I can narrow it down a bit with info from your build sheet. ( box 47) The eye is a 2- pc plexi, clear on top, Green under the clear, they look great, blue toppers are molded in blue, black are blue painted black, with a current interstate battery, which have the white case, (these toppers fit a 78 series battery) these give you the missing factory detail for your car.
These can be used on smaller battery’s, there will be a slight get overhang depending on size.
Inside dimensions, L-10 1/2, W-7 1/4 if your car doesn’t have a top hold down, small PCs of double sided tape can be use to hold the topper down.

My August 1987 window sticker says Freedom Plus II battery (Camaro) I always thought I would be just buying the knock off sticker and the fake stick on eye for a modern NAPA gold battery.

For the 82 Z's- the freedom II topper looks killer.

the Black topper may be correct, it’s been a long road getting info on battery’s, I’m into it about 4 years, and I’m still getting info. 400, 401 and 402 are the last 3 numbers of the Gm part number. The earlier battery’s had the part number on. My battery failed last year, a tow truck driver that came said, no it’s not your battery, no look the eye is green, lol. They are good enough to fool a pro. Lol.
Box 47 on my build sheet says 400.

Here’s a topper on a Interstate battery, the 6 year looks the best, it has a black top. they are still making white cases for a while, they will be phased out to black they said, also with the toppers you don’t have to void the warranty’s, taking the original decals off to mock up with decals and paint.

I’ve never seen the plus II battery, it looks like the black topper is good from 1985 or 1984- 1987. Do you have any pics?

Pretty sure this is what was called the freedom II plus starting sometime in the 1987 model year.
