Default 4557 holley

Can any members tell me what latest available built date for a 4557 holly would be? The reason I ask is .. I read some where that 013 +- is the latest the 4557’s were built.I have a 05d nova and I am in need of one. Can any members help??

The latest production one I have ever seen found is 014

Thanks for the info. Is that kind of typical? They would have had to build hundreds even thousands of those in January of 1970 or did they just all receive the January date code regardless when they were built after January?

It's typical.When supply ran down,they released them all in single lots as needed,but only narrowed it down to the week assembled.
As Dave said,that;s the latest I've seen so far too.
014= 1970,January,4th week.

Guys, there is one one eBay now. The date looks to be 0023. Can any one explain this date, please.

I have a 70 05B L78 Nova, has a 013 4557 on it. I would say that 0023 is some kind of over the counter piece.? Why is it stamped with 4 digits.?

That one would be considered a service replacement for your car.
Holleys assembled after 1972 used a 4 digit date code.
0023=
002=2nd day January
3=1973.
