Us regular guys need to drink the A12Bee Kool Aid to complete our projects!! A great way to kill the garage upgrade is to plan a 3 day work fest way in advance on a non car show weekend and invite a few helpers. This helped me so many times with my Cutlass, it forced me to get all the right parts, products, and info onsite so I wouldn’t waste my friends time. I would love to help!!!

----I need to hunker down and finish two boat restorations. Both need a bunch but due to rampant old age I am using some trusted guys to do all the heavy stuff. I'm mostly trying to find original parts and finding it more difficult than finding old car parts...….Bill S

Find the courage to get a new hip and quit walking around in misery. I wish it was as exciting as working on one of the cars!

Phil, you say the weekend and I’ll be there in the lawn chair rooting you on!!

Bill, what boats are your restoring? I’ve always wanted to build or restore a Chris Craft double cockpit barrel back runabout!! Those boats rock it! Did I mention the other hobby is woodworking?

Oh, the hip fixin’ will allow you to dive right into those projects! Cheers to you for the bravery for facing that fear! I wish you the best in a speedy recovery when the time comes. Look at it this way, it’ll give you the ability to walk around MCACN now! That motivation for any uphill battle you may face and we’ll be rooting you on!

Cheers
Dave

----Dave,,, While I love looking at older wood runabouts I'm not a masochist. Many years ago (1971) I worked for Donzi in sales. There were just two of us and it was great fun. I'm still addicted to fast fiberglass deep vee stuff. The two boats in question are both Donzi's. One 18 foot and one 24 foot. Both are very rare and the restos are coming along,,, slowly. Since you really can't make money on boats I must be crazy to have six of them...…..Bill S
