It doesn't surprise me they used a Ford I6. Torquey as hell and damn near unkillable. Even the most die hard GM fanatic has to admit they're great engines.

That said, I was just thinking earlier to myself, I wonder if there are any 72 Camaro race cars that were supposed to be 73s and were supposed to be scrapped. It's not unheard of.
