Do you have a picture of what the 70 unit looks like?

Thanks,

It looks like the other 67 to 69 open air cleaners. Th difference is the vent tube on
the bottom of the base plate. It bends at a 45 and angles toward the passenger side fender/firewall corner
and sticks out about an inch from the bottom of the base plate. I do not have a picture
but there is a good one in the 70 Camaro and Nova assembly manual.

I think the 69 base can be converted to work properly for 1970 application...the tube is welded to the base...simply loosen the weld and rotate the tube to the correct location...re-weld, refinish and install. The low profile intake on the 70 cars created the need for the different tube position and the bent breather hose.

I would be interested in the air cleaner, if KNAPPY takes a pass on it.

Thanks!
