Rich, heres my thoughts. That attaching bolt (which is brake/fuel line clip length) has sheet metal threads. That was not used on First Gen F Bodies. They all used 5/16-18 thread bolts.
And those cables were all held in by the butterfly clips (like the ones you sold not to long ago). My guess is it was added later. I'll be interested to hear others thoughts.

Default Nova Speedo Cable Clip

1970 L78 4-Speed Nova Speedo Cable Clip. This one is broken.
I bought a clip from Rich thinking it looked similar (was listed as a battery cable clip)

Expanded plug fits into floor pan kind of like a rivet. Once all the seam sealer was removed it is free to rotate.

I haven't seen any original cars without the butterfly clip type. as shown in the last two posts.

Rich,

Mine is a late car but still used two of the same familiar clips on the upper and lower pinch locations for the speedo cable. I cannot say I have ever seen a fuel line clamp used in either spot, especially the lower since the screw would thread into the passenger foot compartment and would likely snag the carpet or underlay material. It was likely changed at one point.

Looks that way. Probably got hooked by a transmission when pulling one out perhaps. Bend it back carefully so it doesn't snap off, and be careful not to pull the 2 prongs out of the floor hole or it will be loose after. Might have to spread the inner tabs inside the passenger compartment if it does loosen up.
