mr70.....Wasn't your question already answered last year on this very same forum in a reply by (redeuce 8/09/02) on this LS6 Convertible?I see no need to push the issue any further. The complete history is already known and available to all by searching "ls6 convertible" in this forum last year on 8/09/02 EDIT: I see it has already been addressed see above reply.

Maybe MR70 can chime in here..Do you know of any other bucket seat Ls6 convertible M22 cars, that actually have proof of being such,ie by factory buildsheet.Ive seen one with phoney docs that was, and every well known car ive seen has been M22 bench or automatic column or buckets..there is a guy in Pa with a green tan car that had buckets and M22 but i dont know if they were added or if the car has a buildsheet. Thanks

Chuck,
If my aging memory serves me correctly the LS6 convert which has been sitting for years in your area is a bucket seat M22 car, although a complete numbers matching car that I spent several hours inspecting and have no doubt to be a "real" car, no buildsheet was found by the owner as of yet. The color combo sounds similar to the one being discussed here. The one that was for auction in Monterey is not the one that is now residing in Michigan, which is an Astro blue on blue car.

HI Matt, i know of 3 bucket seat m22 cars but none with factory buildsheet. As you know its easy to convert from bench to bucket, and quite a common changeover. The car now in michigan is fathom blue/blue ex florida car,ex volo car, last sold by wwmusclecars, not astro blue ..Correct me if im wrong.Muslecarkid said the green car is owned by Gary Swisher..

Chuck,
There is also an Astro Blue car here in Michigan with buildsheet, cant remember if it is auto or four speed but it is a perfect car. The green one I was referring to in your area is not Gary's.

COPO....I heard a rumor that Don Hughey may have owned the famous Truppi-Kling, Briggs Chevrolet LS6 Conv Drag car before Ray Allen (driver) bought it back in the 90's. Not the car for sale here. Anybody else hear anything???(musclecarkid)

That's probably the car I was thinking about. I was talking with Don about a month ago at his place and he mentioned the car. He has certainly owned quite a few LS-6 coupes and a number of the covertibles as well. Very nice guy.
