Default 1967 Camaro L78 protect o plate 124377N221691

Hello guys, I have someone’s original 1967 Camaro L78 protect o plate. Neat car, Black on Black, 4 speed and 3.73 posi. I’m not looking to purchase the car, simply looking to reunite this important part of paperwork with the current owner. If I can’t find current owner, I will sell it in the for sale section of this forum in a few weeks. I have some additional items that came with this, owners manual, and small misc items. Thanks Rob

I just spoke to Gregg Hunnicutt the brother of Willard the gentleman on the POP. Unfortunately Willard passed away about 4 years ago. Willard bought the car new and about 8 months after ownership he got hit and the door was damaged. He had Max Thomas an old country guy who was known for doing custom paint jobs in his barn fix the body and paint the car. Gregg says his brother paid Max a lot of money and the paint job was jet black "a mile deep". Gregg opted not to have the white stripes put back on the car. While the car was in the shop, Willard had the motor pulled and built it to about 550hp had headers installed etc. He says the car was quick.
Willard also owned a ZL1 Corvette and a 1967 Sunbeam tiger that both ended up with a new owner in Canada. Willard also built a 69 Firebird Trans AM.
The last car Willard had done was a 1993 Nissan ZX which he built to 600hp. His sister owns the car to this day.

Gregg and I are working together to find photos and track the car.
