JOE G -- Motion Performance --
Hey Joe. So what was it like being at Motion Performance back in the day? You're one of the keys to history we have man.. What all did you see? Did you take any other Motion cars for a drive other than your Chevelle? Tell us some stories.. Pick your brain.. Nothing is "boring"..

Re: JOE G -- Motion Performance --
ED--
----Motion like all the other dealers were just doing their thing--The main phrase that some of the fellas in this site can relate too is "Back in the Day" -Car nuts, myself included, lived in speed shops and were almost engaged with the local parts guy- -----So, everybody has stories that sound the same just the people and places change and if your old enough to relate to these stories that's something you should cherish-----One story that can relate to DarrenX33---When I stopped by Motion in '89 I dropped off the heads----2days later I dropped off the engine------A week later I dropped off the tranny------Before I knew it the body was off the chassis----All I started to do was get the heads done ----------------Bottom line is Motion Performance wasn't perfect, but none of the speed shops were " PERFECT" --but with Motion Performance's magazine coverage by Marty Schorr you could actually read about something they were doing or had done, and when you stopped by their shop you could refer to what you had read like you had been looking over their shoulder---So really the customer became involved with Motion especially thru the Motion Supercar Club--------- Saw some hot cars and met some talented people--- ------------Say Goodnight ED.... |
