Please don't. Your car is legit the way it is!

At least the car isn't sporting Cooper Cobras. Caint stand those things.
Unfortunately, if you want to run a 14 or 15 inch white letter in a radial, your choices are getting pretty limited. Especially if you are looking for the bigger sizes.

Not sure why you don't like the Coopers southernfriedcj. I've seen you say that before. They're a good quality tire, reasonably priced for those of us that drive their cars routinely and they have a nice classic white lettered look. They're also easy to get in most places. I wouldn't use them on a show/trailer queen resto or survivor of course.

I see where they are now making a replica of the Firestone Wide-Oval in a radial that has the same sidewall and tread pattern as the old school bias tires. But you are still limited on sizes. Still, might be a good compromise for an original car that you actually want to drive.

Hawk, I like the day-two slots and slapper bars on your car.

Unfortunately you can still tell it's a radial tire from 30 feet away where the sidewall meets the tread pattern.
And the tread pattern has its differences from the Bias-ply too.

Thanks. She's a work in progress. She's just about ready for paint, but I need to finish building my new garage first.
