#s '71 Chevelle SS454/M22, Build Sheet, Sold New in HI
Don't see a lot of cars with a Hawaii pedigree - pretty cool ride with a neat color combo. Needs a hell of a lot of detailing (those floppy repop emblem-less door panels make my head hurt), but you could do a lot worse as a starting point if the price stays reasonable.

this is an all original "born with" drivetrain (LS5, M22, rear-end)
If I didn't have one too many 69 projects this would be a great investment!

maybe I have been out of the Chevelle market for a while but 48K on their website seems like a lot of money for this..

Seems the decent 71, 72's 454 Chevelles are bringing good money lately, especially as the 70 LS6 cars seem to remain high for nice examples. Seems there are not too many good ones around

I got a really nice '72 SS454 4 speed Chevelle when I was 15. That's the car that I started driving when I turned 16. This brings back memories.

This one was evidently bid to $41k (???) the last time around and the reserve wasn't yet met (again, ???). Relisted in the link below. I think the last bid would have been all the money and then some.

Relisted again, in the link below. The dealer website shows a $43,900 ask...less than the $48k that was originally posted, but IMO still a good bit detached from reality.
