What spatter paint did you use?
I restored my Camaro in 2011 and have had to repaint the trunk twice! I have a trunk mat and that is where the problem lies. I do not drive in the rain and have never washed the car with a hose, so there is no water getting into the trunk, it is the result of condensation between the mat and the trunk. After I waited for the lousy dupli color paint (it is way to green and does not cover, took 6 cans) to dry for a week, I cleaned my trunk mat and decided to line the trunk with puppy piss mats that are 24x23, it took 6 out of the 10 pack. I did this 3 weeks ago and so far so good. Does anybody have any other ideas? Yes I want to use the trunk mat, it is quiter.

It may have dried before a week, but it stunk up the garage for 10 days. I will use the gm paint the next time, but it needs a top coat. Plus the duplicator paint is way too green, not even close.

If it's the ZL1 I would have NP giving it to a restoration shop. That's a pretty special car. Can you post a pic of the trunk and a couple of the whole car?
