Default '69 L88 Corvette

Interesting Lemans Blue-on-Gunmetal color combo on this one. Engine stamp...well all I can say is it's like none I have ever seen. Also not the most flattering description...but pretty cool car nonetheless.

----Car must have been built with regular exhaust as the rear valence is molded to the body. I have seen that so many times as it is so simple to do that when adding side exhaust rather than do it as the factory did it. As for under the hood, what a mess! If this is the real original color combo, I'm betting it's the only one out there!.....Bill S

Hi...I just like to sit "in the weeds" here and read these ads. Not comment on all the "odd stuff"
I had Vettes for 40 + years, a 2 owner LT1 for 27 years, judged, raced, seen a bunch of cars.

I have NEVER, NEVER seen this interior colour.

Muncie is dated P8R13 so that is not original.

No drain plug either, so assume it is not an M22, which I would think would be standard with an L88..
To me, the trim tag looks like a repro too. Just too new and shiny appearing ?

Seems like a nice "tribute" car, but not in the price range they have it for. BUT, if I win one the huge lotteries, I'd buy it and drive it like I stole it.

Interior could be dyed or sprayed. Looks like a put together car or clone.

Stay away!

----Just was messaged by Ralph Spears and he pointed out the radio which could not be ordered on a 69 Corvette L88. I just missed that completely! Thanks, Ralph!.....Bill S

Bill, From the ad:

Quote:
- NCRS judging sheets provided by the current owner (file/d/1JRP5gRE6lkm1naZCl0j_WZU171jXp85Z/view?usp=sharing)

Locally restored believed to be original L88 Corvette finished in LeMans Blue over a Gunmetal interior.

This car has some driveability modifications made during the restoration. Modifications appear to be: Fan shroud, electronic ignition, OE replacement front brake calipers, radio, heater, and an aftermarket carburetor.

Towards the end of the photo gallery you can find pictures of the casting numbers on the engine, transmission and rear end.
