Thanks for the pic!!!
This car is a radio/heater delete, battery in the trunk and no power steering. Are there any 442 websites where I can get info?

LOL - you mean a no radio, heater delete. The radio was an option not standard - you can't delete an option. Battery came standard in the trunk. That is why there are no 1967 convertible 442 W30s. It interfered with the top when retracted. Here is a site about the 1967 442 W30:

Same site - more info:

Lee,
Thanks for the 442 sites. Yes you are right the radio was an option and not deleted. My 69 Z/28 and 69 L78 Camaro do not have radios.
The 442 has bucket seats.
Thanks again for the info.
Dave

----Dave,,, The reference to Dale Smith (OEM Glass) is that he restored a black 2dr. post 67 automatic (rare) W30 quite a while back. It was beautiful as were all Dales restorations. He sold it later to a very good friend in Coral Gables, Fl, Dave Walters. Your new purchase is an absolute twin, if its an auto, or maybe your car is that actual W30 as rare cars seem to move around quite a bit these days! Sadly, Dale, RIP, passed on several years ago. I miss him greatly as he was one of my best friends!

----By the way, if you look closely, Dave's beauty is a bucket seat car. What I cant tell is weather its an auto or extra pedal car and weather it has a console. That would help narrow things down a bit.

I have only been to Dave's one time to see the Desert Rat when it was there but ... Dave has some of the meanest, cleanest cars i have ever seen so I am sure this 442 is just as top notch as his other cars.

Hey Bill,
First I'm sorry you lost your friend. It seems like it is happening all to often. The car is a 4 speed and I hope Bruce can post a few more pics to answer a few questions about the car.
