Default 1969 Malibu

Up for sale
Read entire ad please before asking any questions.
This is a California original car.
I had been looking for several years for a clean 69 Chevelle in NJ but they were ALL too rusty. So I looked to the west coast.
It was built in Freemont and was in CA until I had shipped to New Jersey a year ago January. I still have the black plates for it.
307 v8 now with 4 barrel quadrujet
Th350 transmission column shift
10 bolt rear ratio unknown. I do have a 12 bolt rear for it available, not available separately.
Air conditioned car (that works and blows cold with R12)
Power steering
This is a factory champagne with dark green gut car…yes I am serious.
Car wears it’s original paint but it is very sunbaked, and somebody at one time clear coated it which is also baked.
The interior has been redone under my ownership to include rear package tray, headliner, visors, carpet, dash pad in correct green, and front and rear seat covers. The foams were not replaced because they were actually in perfect condition, so they are not overstuffed. It is a bench seat car. PLEASE NOTE interior picture is BEFORE.
The car was power drum, which I converted to power disc front (oem style) and replaced the rear drum brakes completely.
Installed new factory dual exhaust with SS tips.
Replaced all rad hoses and heater hoses with reproduction hoses, and correct clamps.
Replaced plug wires with reproduction wires.
Installed pertronix distributor
I do have an oem style am/fm radio and speaks that go with the car.
There is a small rust spot in the lower rear window channel, literally the size of a pencil.
That is the only rust on the car. Yes I am for real, that is why I shipped it from CA.
The car is very VERY straight.
The exception is the passenger front fender which has both a crease and a wack on the eyebrow. The damaged fender is still on the car. I have a NOS 69 Chevelle fender included in the sale.
Also included, and original 69 SS hood with trim (grills)
69 Malibu grill NOS
69 left and right hockey stick trim NOS
Set of 4 very clean headlight bezels
Reproduction front and rear bumpers in show chrome
Clean pair of rear tail light lenses to replace the sunburnt ones on the car.
If you think you need to tear this car down to make perfect, this is NOT the car for you. It has survived over 50 years without somebody messing it up, and should remain as such.
Entry level muscle car.
This is an original car that has not been restored or refurbished.
It has been made driveable and safe. This car runs very VERY well.
This car is NOT perfect, who is at over 50 years old. Please do not tell me what you think it needs, especially from a few photographs.
This car is complete to nearly 100%, because I am sure something tiny thing may be missing, I am not trying to mislead anyone.
Cash only
Clear NJ title in my name, in my hand.
I will not help carrier load the car. I have had several horrible experiences with carriers, including one that was life threatening.
If you arrive with your trailer for pick up, I can help some, but being an old fat guy, I can’t work miracles.
Car is located at a remote location, so I cannot supply 50 million picture requests, but the pictures in the ad are of the actual car and are an accurate representation of the overall condition of the vehicle.
I do not need help selling.
I am not interested in trades, just cash. I am thinning the herd to 1 car.
I am not a chatty person, so my conversations are direct and to the point of sale this car.
I do not negotiate unless in person and you have a lump of cash with you.
Car is located in Medford Lakes NJ zip code 08055
Between exit 4 and 5 on the NJ turnpike.
20 miles east of Philadelphia
Near Atco Dragway
My cell number for calls, no texts, is 609-605-5368 m-f 5pm to 9pm sat and Sunday 9am to 9pm…yes I am an old guy.
My name is Chris.
Thank you very much for looking.
Price is 19500.00
