Default 1966 Impala SS 427 4-speed project

Pretty cool car to get running as is, or restore. Missing the original motor, and has a rusty trunk floor.

Oh, and... wheels, tires and caps not included :-(

Unusual, IMHO to see a car in that shape, neglected as it is, to sport (pun) personalized plates calling out what it is - someone, at some time, knew just what that car was!

I KNEW as soon as I read the header that I shouldn't go look. Sure enough an Aztec Bronze SS...
Less than 8 hours away to fetch it.
There's going to be more surprise rust than is readily seen. The firewall to cowl seam under the trim tag is rusted...

Well, that didn't last long. I was high bid for about 30 minutes...

The rust coming through the trunk lid is concerning as well, but this would sure make a neat project.

Apparently that author didn't read the full description, or he would know why the trans is in the trunk. Aztec Brown ?? that guy needs to educate himself.

Yeah, would be a neat car to put together and drive as is. Price is going to go way higher than I could justify, having 5 other cars needing restoration...
