I’ve had back seat out nothing there. I’ll look in doors. I’ve also heard they sometimes are tucked up under fender. I’ll post pic of rear ended numbers. Getting trans numbers today. By the looks of underneath I’m sure it original trans but I’ll verify.

Removed valve covers. Correct part number and same date code on both heads. Car built 4th week of October ‘65 heads date code oct 14th ‘65

Nice stamp. 3.31:1 posi with metallic brakes.

Definitely check the underside of bucket seats. Stuffing n springs. Under carpet and behind door panels. Top of gas tank.

396-360 horsepower, Oval port heads, forged crank and rods, 2 bolt main block, Holley carb cast iron intake, Hydralic cam. Nice engine.

Remove yellow headlights, replace with factory style, buff rust off bumpers, grille, wash underneath and engine and compartment. I am a paint and body tech. This car has just the right patina. I wouldn’t touch the body or paint. Light interior work mechanicals and drive it I think is right way to go with this one. At least for a little while.

It is a red car originally. Paint code R 2 red black top
