Default 1969 Chevelle Rolled Exhaust Tips

Hello! Just wondering if anyone had any old or reproduced 1969 chambered exhaust rolled tips available? Just finishing up with our project. Thanks in advance, Jeff

Sharp Jeff. What's the back story? Is that black/black?

As you may know, the rolled tips did not last too long into the '69 model year because they held moisture and rusted out quickly (not sure what the cut off date was - Oh Dan "Postsedan"?!). Not sure how exacting you are doing your resto but unless your car is an early build they would not have gotten the rolled tips. Gaps look nice on your ride! Thanks, it is a first week of February build, but I put a chambered exhaust on and would like the tips as well. Actually Fathom Green with black buckets and console, not great lighting at the show, but that's what I love about the 57/57 color.

I don't blame you for adding C. Exhaust. What a sound!!! What engine/tranny/rear do you have. Dealership? Dale Macintosh has a Registry
if you haven't done so.

Don Stowere, a member here has a set. Don't remember if they are NOS or repops but he mentioned it last week. I will send him a note that you are looking.

It has what We believe to be the complete original drive train. It is an L35 325HP with the Muncie M21 and the original 12 bolt with an open 3:31. We just swapped out with a Detroit True Track 3:73 Posi, keeping the appearance original. It was a Baltimore build and the story goes that it was originally sold out of Maryland, but unfortunately, no build sheet or Dealership identified as of yet. The first pic is how it looked when we picked it up in October 2013.

OK, what gives? Why are the pics not showing up? They were in the preview? Thanks for the help!

Jeff,

Unless you don`t care.....and just love the look of the Rolled Tips.....your car is too late for having them.
