Lightbulb Real X22D80 tag or no?

Obviously the tag has been off the car. Same owner since 1990, he was honest from the get go and said he removed the tag during paint back then and "cleaned it up". Obvious 90's repop rivets. Just want to make sure that he didn't get taken back then and thinks its real, or it may be. Some things look off others look ok. This is for my brother who's been looking for a driver.

Thanks,

Rich

With that tag, I would say this guy is about as dishonest as it comes!

Could be the tag was already there when he removed it for paint in 1990. Maybe he just doesn't know.

Repop tags have been around and they have evolved into more accurate fonts etc. They werent making this good of a tag in 1990. So if he has indeed owned it since 1990, Im sure he knows just exactly where the tag came from.
