Default Alan Green Chevrolet Z11

I was reading an old posting from 2000 about the Alan Green Z11 and I think I can add some info to it. I knew Larry Webb who tuned the car and the driver was Dick Milner, they both worked for Alan Green. Dick Tutino I believe also worked for Green but he didn't get the car until later. I also believe that the car used to test the 747s landing distance was a ZL1 Camaro owned by Gene McKinney.

A close friend of mine owns Gene McKinney’s 69 Camaro , where did you find the history of his car?

I think the ZL1 Camaro Boeing used was # 27 that has been rebodied twice.

ZL-1 #27 was used by Boeing to tow a trailer for testing runway traction.

In 1969 they ran the car in Super Stock

In 1970 or later , Dick Tutino ran the car in Pro Stock.
