Default '71 LT1 Corvette, 454 Transplant

I saw 'L88' in the description which drew me in, but it's only a '72 2-bolt 454. In any case, the seller is claiming this car was born with the LT1 option, and it does have the high redline tachometer.

Cool looking car if it could be had for a good bit under $10k.

I think the yellow LT1 would be a much better deal for the 16,5k~!

After working with my son on his 68 L79 Corvettte, I can tell you for fact that you can't pay more than $10K for that car unless you don't car about landing upside down. For some reason the name Corvette adds 50% to most parts and these cars have 50% more parts and pieces than a steel car.

Would be a cool car, but lots of $$$ to get it right.

It's got the WRONG rear end to be a LT1 or Big Block...
The half shafts should have Forged Caps with grade 8 bolts not straps with nuts.
