Even with the head on it would be obvious, (hint) it has to do with the Vin#. They don't know or have not seen a real kansas vin#.

Vin number should be smaller and not the same size as engine plant number.Maybe someone can post a pic of the correct size font for vin number.

that is not the case on a Kansas VIN stamp as they are unlike all the other plants which are in fact smaller.

You sure need to employ or have someone with knowledge inspect almost each and every "high end" car nowadays. The crooks are everywhere.

I call it inexpensive insurance. I once inspected a $140K LS6 for a customer and determined it to be a fraud in about 15 minutes of inspection time. I apologized to the buyer that he spent a lot of money only to find out immediately that it was a fake. His response was that I did not cost him money but rather that I saved him $140,000. I now have a different attitude about it.

I now have a different attitude about it. </div></div> X2 Rick, I did two inspections this year that took me less then 2 minutes to do by looking at the build sheet first before the car itself and they were clearly fakes. Buyer's were happy to pay the small fee compared to the whole fee of the mega buck car. [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/biggthumpup.gif[/img]
