Interesting 1969 Camaro
Saw this the other day in Rockville, MD. Was Hugger Orange SS/RS, L78, black houndstooth, and the stripe that goes up to the hood (the one not available on SSs).
Owner had the original window sticker, which showed a LeMans Blue L34 (rarer than an L78) with 4.10. Thought 4.10 gears was unusual for a non-solid lifter car, but you guys are the experts - thoughts? |

Re: Interesting 1969 Camaro
L34 would have come standard with 3.31. Performance axle was 3.55.
4.10 was available special order, as were 2.73 and 3.73 according to the GM heritage center option listings. What is with the rounded pinking shear edges? Page 179: GM Heritage option lists.

Not many options on this car (originally)! </div></div> Wow... SS350 with 4.10s likely surprised quite a few Big Block cars in the first two gears back in the day. Didn't think you could even get gears that deep with the L48. |

Re: Interesting 1969 Camaro
did you look under the hood? Does it have a curved neck radiator?
