Default Eyes on Design Event

Hers a nice one, last year was so hot I didn’t go. It’s on Father’s Day so you always can make the kids take you, lol. Some of the guys that do the big concours events are involved with this show, it gets some nice cars, and the site where it’s at is great too. The Ford estate is something to check out in itself.

I will not be bringing my own car but will be helping Tim Dye of the Pontiac Museum shuttle vehicles back and forth. He's got about 5 or 6 cars and/or buggies that will be on display.

I went through some of the old photos they showed on the website:

The guy in the white jacket is Steve Pasteiner. He owns the bookstore where we do our Cars and Coffee on Saturday mornings.

He also designed the Buick Grand National and the Buick Blackhawk show car.

This gentleman in the white shirt is Bill Porter.

He designed the '68 GTO, the '69 Trans Am and the '70 Firebird.

I offered to help out on the event, I just never hooked up with the gang, they meet monthly at Masterworks. One of these days maybe.
Back in Jan, I bumped into the owner of Masterworks at a BBQ place, I mentioned Eyes on Design, he said to stop in on a Monday night.
