Default Another Survivor - My LS5 Comes Home!

I am the second and fourth owner of this Chevelle. I bought it from the estate of the original owner in 1998. I reluctantly sold it to a good friend in 2001 with the agreement I would get first chance if he decided to sell. It took 15 long years but it is finally back in my hands and I won't be letting go anytime soon!!

Original paint with the exception of the right quarter and door, original interior and original driveline. I don't believe the motor has ever been out and the car has 122,000 miles. A few bumps and bruises here and there but I love it just the way it is

Documentation includes two build sheets in hand and one untouched on top of the gas tank (Van Nuys car), protecto-plate, original window sticker from Harry Mann Chevrolet, pre-delivery check sheet, and original sales contract.

Nicely optioned with M22, buckets, gauges, cowl induction, am/fm, remote mirror, tilt wheel, bumper guards, power steering, and posi rear.

Very nice Gregg. I love these survivor cars. So much neat information can be gained from them as well as just standing next to them you can almost hear all the stories that they have been through. Take care of her.

Wow I'd be getting out my buffer out and primp that thing within an inch of it's life and then drive it forever!!! Can I ask what makes the gas pedal angle like that??? I saw it on a car I went to look at but didn't see if something was broke???

Thanks guys. I have a lot of cleaning and detailing ahead of me. I had my hands full when this car was last in my possession so it didn't get a lot of attention and my friend pretty much parked it in his garage for 15 years. This time will be different. I swear!!

Ron, I will look at the gas pedal as soon as I get a chance.

Two pics of the car at Speedway 605 in Irwindale, Ca in May of 1976. I have the sales receipt for those Delta 60 Trans Am tires in the picture.
