Default 396 painted valve cover bolts

What is the factory correct bolt head marking on a 396/325 painted valve cover? Also what style and color of breather was correct on the passenger side valve cover for a 67 impala ss? Thanks, jeff

Some of the valve cover bolts had a TR. There may be other markings that were used also.

Several possibilities at that time for head markings. TR is very common, RBW, CH and D. Just a name a few. They were all 7/16 hex across the flats.

Did they install black ac breathers in painted 396/325 valve covers (pass. Side) in 1967 impala ss models when these cars were new? Thanks again, jeff
