I spoke with the son of the original owner. His father owned it up until 2008 when he passed. He told me that his mother wouldn’t let his father buy a muscle car. I don't want to side track his listing but I always thought the dual snorkel air cleaner was a early build thing, It appears to me now it was a late build item. Since both cars are from the Atlanta plant maybe assembly plant specific?

Very interesting (options) Survivor. This is a Blue Chip type of LS6. I inspected the car for a previous owner/buyer as well as helped resell it a few years later. Great Car!

he special ordered it.. How cool. 3.31 rear too. Looked him up. His son lives in Denver pa and is 60

i was under the impression its a later thing my may built ls6 has it its an arlington car

i like the gold but the blue for sure would have been killer! i recall seeing the car in a hotrod article very cool back story!

Doesn't get much better than this. I love the plain jane survivor/a$$ kicken aspect of this car.
