Might have just been someone's personal weekend warrior, but there's enough interesting racecar stuff on this one that I'd want to research the owner history....

Auto-crossed since new. Current owner has had the car since 1970. He bought it from his neighbor who bought it new at Ellis Brooks Chevrolet. He also helped the original owner prepare it for auto-cross when it was brand new in 1963. 327CI casting number is 3782870 and date code is A52. Block was decked when built in the 1960's. Fuel injection is original. 4-speed transmission. Originally dark blue metallic with dark blue interior. Painted white in the early 1970's. Wheels were put on when new and the Bluestreak retread tires are from about 1968. The car runs as you can see in the video but will need a tune-up and some adjustments for daily driving. The brakes will need some work as the car pulls right when stopping. I was able to drive it 5 miles to my warehouse with no problem. Original hardtop included. Original soft top still in the car but will need replacement. Gauges work. The car did very well on the auto-cross circuit when driven by the original owner, Mike Tsirlis aka Midnight Mike. Currently registered with a clean California title and original black plate from 1963. -
