Default Memories of a new 1966 L-79 Chevy II when i was in High School

Maroon/ Beige interior sold new at Clay Chevrolet in Newton Mass. 456 Posi No radio. A senior at my school bought the car new and used to put on quite a show around the school. I will never forget this car.Don't know what ever happened to it.

After we graduated high school i never saw the car around anymore, It was not an SS it was the cheap model Chevy ll 100 model i think they called it. He used to do burnouts in front of the school we would all wait at his car when school got out to see him leave the school he would always put on a good show.

With lots of power, a flexible chassis, and non existent handling, that thing was probably rolled or wrapped around a telephone pole. I had several of them..
