Early 69, November 68 build so has leftover 68 headliner and Ford 4spd shifter. Wrong seats and IMHO that rear spoiler has to go! Nicest AMX I’ve seen for sale in a while.

Used to watch these cars race in SS/C back in the day and they were fast. This car is nice but I agree that rear spoiler would have to go.

Cool car also listing info/details but auction ended/not competed/maybe sold off eBay?
Are you guys saying you don't like the rear spoiler look or a '70 part being on a '69 car?
Being a Donohue spoiler also already there, I'd run w/ it also consider adding the Donohue decal?

Not my cup of tea, however I do love original cars and that is a GREAT AD, especially by today’s eBay standards.

That spoiler was never offered on a 2 seat AMX from the factory. It first appeared on the Mark Donahue Javelin in 1970. I’m just not a fan of how it looks on the short wheelbase AMX.

I love that car. I'm in the "remove the spoiler" crowd.

Better find a no rot lid in CA, while down there picking the car up...
From a forward view, the spoiler looked OK, but from the back, WOW, yeah, that would need to go. A first gen, Camaro sized spoiler, would be a cool addition but not that sky scraper.
