Default Spring Carlisle date change

I just got word that the Spring show has been moved back again to June 17-20th. If you have reservations in May, change them before your hotel finds out and raises their rates.

One more rescheduled and we will be calling it Summer Carlisle again. Just a joke for those of us who are old enough to remember from back in the 1980’s. Rob

I used to vend at Summer Carlisle. Roasted my nuts off and had very little sales. It was mostly a biker meet.
Spring Carlisle is now one week before the Chevy Nationals (former GM Nats)

That one will probably be cancelled as well. Most states say they are going by fed guidelines and banning large group gatherings rest of the year and PA is super strict to begin with.

I certainly hope they have the swap meet. I have been going to Carlisle/Hershey meets since 1985. Its like mecca to a car enthusiast. ROB

Even if they have it, the risk will still be there because of all the cash deals (money changing hands). Too bad. I've had my truck packed with parts since early March in anticipation of several meets.

I called Carlisle Events today. Still on for June dates. They meet with the state tomorrow to go over their plans. Any changes to their plan, if needed, will be posted Wednesday.

I'm guessing light turnout all things considered.

So that begs the question. If your looking for Chevy parts do you attend what is now spring Carlisle or the GM Nationals one week later?
