Don't worry. Dave's just saying that as I am sure many here have after a long tough restoration. It's the old "I'm not going to do that again" spiel . . . until another car catches his eye. It's in his blood. It's part of his persona.

Right Dave?

Yeah, unfortunately it is, Lee. I'm so anxious to get back on that 507 I can't stand it. Plus, who's threads have commentary that makes no sense like mine? And Des, we all know I'll be getting a Judge one day!

This car has just beat me up eight ways to Sunday! I do appreciate there compliments, guys! They mean a lot!

Cheers
Dave

I'm exhausted too, and not just because I have a cadre of delivery driver assassins vowing revenge against me, for impugning their reputations for the fact that they couldn't seem to find Dave's evil lair down on that volcanic island in central Texas.

Once I can lure them away from Dave, he should recover forthwith.

Let's see if they dare travel to New Jersey for the continuation of this miniseries...

And when Dave finds his Judge, we are flipping the tables and it's going to start its first half up here while I build the engine and do the greasy stuff.

Well that's a bummer. I enjoy your threads and will miss your work. I hope you find your Judge though. I'll be glued to that thread if and when you find it. That's my dream car after all!

‘Once I can lure them away from Dave, he should recover forthwith.”

I thought it was Fort Worth

I've gotten a few messages about the undercoating and what I used. Seems the gooey mess looks good and others want to mimic my mess!

The product is RestRick's undercoating. It's just about as identical to factory undercoating/ sound deadener that you can get. It's ready to spray as-is, no mixing, and what I use to spray it is a bottle and shutz style gun from a used Raptor spray bed liner kit. I use a very low PSI, like 10 or so, and it comes out thick and goopey and really looks original. Raising the pressure will spray it finer. Excellent stuff and paintable like the inner quarters are.

The purple paint poses poignantly although procrastination presented itself post haste! But finally they will be mounted tomorrow if I don't have to go to work! Adhesion promoter in the epoxy, then flex agent in the clear. That should compensate for any wiggle that happens during installation. Hopefully not creating cracks like Ray the Plumber displays during a call to fix a leaky faucet!

I was lucky to get these painted this morning since it's oh...I don't know...a billion degrees right now?

Cheers
Dave

Dave:

You ever do back-to-back restorations before? Like you did with that white truck and now the 'Cuda.
