Re: Need some Critique on my 69
Verne, I am going to 17th Annual Winter National show first and it is a 1000 point judged show, then I am going to the AACA show the same month since they are both in my area.
I figure since I took the time to put all this effort into my car I might as well see how well I do for all the sweat and blood I shed on this project. All the shows I have done so far 5 of them I have either won 1st place or best of show and that was before I have done these corrections to the car. 17th Annual Winter National Old Town, Kissimmee, FL Hosted by: Classic Camaro of Central Florida 2/5/2009 - 2/8/2009 17th Annual Winter National Then off to the AACA show. Southeastern Winter National Meet AACA show in Lakeland Florida it is Feb 22-09. |

Re: Need some Critique on my 69
Brad,
Both VCCA and ACCA will only check fit finish and paint. Generic judging. They will not know about any of the technical corrections that you're making. Most of the judges will be owners of others kinds of cars at the same meet. Dont' sweat it. If there is still any kind of Chevelle judging at the concours level, that is where I would channel this energy. Good luck, Jerry |

Re: Need some Critique on my 69
Then I am also going to try for a senior award in 2-5 - Charlotte, NC - Southeastern National Spring Meet.
And after that one I am going to the ACES CB09 in June. I figure what the heck at least try for something. I know my car is not perfect so I figure and see how well it does or how well I did on the car. I have nothing better else to do with my time. |

They don't (or didn't the last time I was there) give First, Second, Third Place; just "Top Three" in each class. You can probably get better "Judging" right here by the Members on this site, but if you truly care about this sort of thing and want a 'Certificate' contact Chris White or Jeff Dotterer. The're the Go-To guys for Chevelles.

Re: Need some Critique on my 69
Brad,
You're certainly on the right course by trying to make the car as correct as possible (and asking here is the right place). I just meant you didn't need to hurry to sweat those details for an AACA show. Verne |

Re: Need some Critique on my 69
Chris White or Jeff Dotterer are going to this show and going to hook up with them while they are there.
About the only other thing I need for the is my date coded horns which are being sent to me from Gary at the Horn Works and the correct tires and "smallhurst" just took care of that for me today and got them ordered. Thanks Rusty |

Re: Need some Critique on my 69
CB 09 is a popularity wote and as said before they take the top 3 vote getters in each class 69 stock or 69 modified.
