And, no, the high back 3-piece spoiler was most certainly not standard in '71. You had to order D80 to get it. </div></div> Hi Des, I did not see your initial post but clear now and agreed. When I say standard I was inferring to when you ordered spoilers you got the 3 pc unit but the 1 pc unit. Isn't the ad for the Red Camaro a 1971? A '72 would have a different grill unless this is a fault of Chevy's poor timing in advertising... Dan

I took some pictures of the axle snubbers with my phone not sure how to post them,i may have to wait for my daughter to get home to help me.

Hard to see but it looks like the Looks like the 2 piece unit with the push in snubber at the top of the bracket correct?
