'70 Mustang R-Code Unfinished Rotisserie Resto
One of the more interesting unfinished projects I've seen lately.

"The underside of the car is sprayed with a Raptor liner finish."
Why would you "restore" a rare(ish) car and spray bed liner on the under side? If it's all original sheet metal it seems to have made it the past 49 years in decent shape without bed liner. |

I know some guys say it helps deaden road noise, but when I read this it makes me think there were a lot of rust pinholes and maybe sections of metal welded in, and this thick stuff does a good job of hiding it. If I am going to go to the trouble to put a car up on a rotisserie, I am going to want the underside to look nicer than a pickup truck bed.

OK, so I just looked at the pictures, and it doesn't look as bad as I thought it would, but I would go back to the factory style finish on a car as valuable as this one. If you are doing a resto-mod, that's different, but I was under the impression that this is a car that you would go back close to factory finish on.
