Default Legendary Nova seat covers

I see Legendary now has 69-72 Nova bucket seat covers on their site. Anyone have experience with these covers? Are they quality. I have their covers in the 69 ElCamino, and they are nice, but wondering about the Nova seats.

Hi Bill,

I cannot speak for the new Nova Seat material.....however I have much experience with Legendary Interiors......I have easily installed over 20 interiors from Oldsmobile, Buick and Chevrolet....all and each time the quality was outstanding.

I am certain the new Nova Covers will be the same

Thanks Dan.

Yea I figured the Nova covers are as good as the Chevelle covers. I was just wondering if anyone has used them yet. The brand I have in the Nova now is junk, so I'm looking to upgrade if the Nova covers are available now from Legendary. In the past, Legendary didn't make Nova covers.

Bill,

This Nova most likely used the same covers as what you have in your Nova now.

BTW, this Nova SOLD for a record $70,400 for an L48 4 Speed.

A very nice Nova indeed

What's going on with that grille/hood molding alignment?

Post bucket seats/legendary

Pretty sure 69-70 Chevelle buckets were the same as the Nova except for seat tracks/mounting...I know the 70's are. so why wouldn't the Chevelle seat covers work on a Nova?? as for quality...legendary makes nice stuff.

fyi: they have the plain basket weave covers for the 70 deuce bench seat interior.

as for the 70 gold nova sold at mecum...nice looking car. Headlite bezels are wrong, should be E70 tires, not F70...and yes the hood molding looks weird. rear is non-posi. not sure, but i thought 4 speed cars didn't get the heat tube for the air cleaner..but that might have changed for 1970. that's a lot of $$ for a small block super sport.

The Chevelle and Nova seats are the essentially the same as far as fit, but the pattern of the vinyl is different. So the Chevelle covers would work, but wouldn't match the back seat.

The brand covers in the Nova now have been there for 2 years and they are already stretched out and the ribs/line or whatever they're called, never lined up when the covers were made. The upholstery gut who put the covers on 2 years ago said there was no way he could line then up to make them look correct. At the time Legendary wasn't making Nova covers, so I was "stuck" with those covers. I'll call Legendary tomorrow and see if the new Nova covers are in production....

Look's like that Nova has a 73 or 74 hood. Buddy of mine had a 72 Nova with that same look. Found out it wasn't a 72 hood, but a hood off a 73 or 74 Nova. You could see the holes that were filled in on the driver side front part of the hood where the Nova emblem was placed. Lot of money for small block Nova. Top bidder might of had a few to many drinks, what do you think??
