Hydraulic lifter I believe,as solid lifters used 746C and were purple.

Rick, thats interesting. I know I have seen these in original BB solid lifter vettes.

I thought that the purple PCV valves came out in 1970ish and were only over the counter. Can not remember if I ever saw them in a car from the factory. I have a failing memory though.
