It is an interesting early Camaro but have seen no evidence to support the claims of a 427 conversion.
Here is the Mecum description on it |

YS-760 was sold in March of 1968. It has a lot of documentation and is the last known 1967 427 Camaro

Yenko bought headers and traction bars from Bill Thomas for the early cars.
Yenko used other suppliers as the production increased |

the factory SS396 engine is located forward and to the pass side in relation to the SS350.
The BB will drop in to the SB location but the exhaust manifold hits the steering box. The SB fan shroud will work and the SB heater core will work but the hoses are close to the BB valve cover. getting a set of headers for the SS350 to SS427 was the key part of the conversion. |
