Default No paint work here today

Saw where Mitch posted about having mild temps today; so he was able to paint the dash on the Chevelle.

Nothing mild about today in OK.

Sherri has a thermometer on the East side of her shed. I was mowing at about 10:40 this morning and noticed it seemed a bit warm.

Granted, this had been in the sunshine since the sun came up about 6:40, and I understand the "official" high here was "only" about 104. But this gives you an idea of the hot spots that can develop in the sun.

By my calculations, looks like 125 to 126F.

No wonder I goth thirsty.

If the pic shows up sideways, I am blaming it on the cell phone. Doesn't seem to matter how I rotate it.

I set the windshield in the next day on butyl tape seal and left it in the sun to set. The temp was 82 degrees but after an hour in the sun, the glass was too hot to comfortably touch anymore. Solar heat can be brutal.

But it's a dry heat! That is some low humidity.

It was only 114 here in AZ yesterday. Lots of humidity too. We had monsoon storms later in the evening which cooled it down to 99 degrees.

I started to wash and ceramic coat the car at 7am yesterday morning-and it was already 95 degrees. I was soaking wet when I finished. Lucky we have a pool

Cloud pic before the rain started....

Stay safe in the heat, folks!

112 yesterday.

Didn't look at the thermometer on the East side of Sherri's shed yesterday.

At 8 this morning, before the sun hit it, it was showing 92.

We did have a "cool front" move through this morning. No rain; just humidity. Expected high today is 106. Some cool front.
