Default Dumas Milner Chevrolet Jackson MS

Does anyone have any information on a Jackson MS dealership , Dumas Milner Chevrolet ? Was it known as a speed shop ? Sell a lot of high performance HP cars ? Looking for any information, other owners with cars from there, any sales guys from there ,….. all the usual stuff. Any pictures, dealer emblem would be great too.
Thx for any info and help.
Bob

Anything really , online I can only find a few notices, the odd picture, obituary for Dumas himself, and a few of the other dealerships in Louisiana and Miami.
I have car that was bought there according to NCRS , and was trying to get a few pics of the dealership, maybe the name of any salesman that’s still alive , and maybe he remembers a few of the cars that pasted through there.
Hell “pie in the sky” is he remembers the original owner of my car ! That’s too good to happen , but hey , never say never.
Also a good pic of a mid 60’s dealer emblem or sticker would be cool too

Apparently, there were a lot of Dumas Milner dealerships. My '69 Chevelle was sold new at Dumas Milner in Miami. I believe they also had a store in La. and one in Tx.

I'm know that dealership. My grandmother worked there in the early 60's. It was bought out and changed name in the late 70's to Herrin Gear Chevrolet. It also moved.. the old building is still there.. Jackson school system owns it. Had a 72 LT1 with air bought new from there for 25 years. I know that there is no records or paperwork to be had as The flood of 1979 ruined all of it. Will try to find and get a pic of a dealership emblem for you.

Awesome! Thx so much .I’ve seen the pic of Herrin Gear Chevrolet , and thought that may be it. Did Dumas Milner ever put their own emblem on the cars they sold ? Would love to see a pic of one
Thx again

J Jones,
Do you know of a 65 Chevy Malibu SS L 79 that was sold new out of Dumas in Jackson MS?
Black / black color combination. Guessing around the February 1965 or later time frame

Tony, I don't, but will talk to some old gear heads and drag racers at an upcoming show in January. If it was around here, they will know. U
