Notice the ad in the window promoting the 68 Supercars yet they still have 67's out front.

The July 1979 edition of "Street Racer" has an article by Rick Berliner about Reb Brown's SS RS '67 Camaro titled "Motion Performance Hugger", The article describes the car as an original Motion 427 Camaro race car. With lettering that could still be seen under the current paint.

Stefano, good to see you posting. I've seen the article you mentioned, but the car seems to be long gone. Reb Brown no longer owns it.

I have a freind that is looking to purchase a "possible" '67 Motion Camaro.
He asked me a couple of things to determin if it was real, in which I replied,"Without paperwork it is almost impossible."
The one thing he said is that the car is a Big block, Tri-power, 4 speed.
He is going to try to get some pics & info this week.

My question is, "Did Joel ever leave or put a tri-power on these early cars?"

Normally Motion got rid of the tripower set-up amd replaced it with a single 4, so I would say it is doubtful, but you never knows. I sure wouldn't buy it based on that info alone.

Be carefull. Everybody that has a car with a part or two that could have come on a Motion wants to try to cash in on the craze and get the big $$$$ for their cars.

I have a '72 Vette that has a pop up gas cap that came from Motion. Wonder if that makes it worth $100,000 ????? I don't think so. (But I am open to close offers if anyone is interested).

I know the original owner of the car and he ordered the gas cap from Joel and put it on his basic stock burnt orange, 350ci vette with auto trans. Then he had it painted black with a set of dish mags.

Without the paperwork from Joel you only have a car that is worth what someone is willing to pay and no where near what a real documented Motion car is worth. So make the owner prove it or else be prepared to take a big hit in the pocketbook.

I am sure that Joel is really tired of every body thinking they have one of his cars. Good Luck with this one.
