Default Ebay LS6 Chevelle

Hi , Just wondering if anyone has noticed the Build Sheet for an Arlington built LS6 Chevelle on Ebay right now , item # 130043460578 ? I know I heard that until recently there has never been a proven/documented real sheet out there for viewing ? Any thoughts ?

That buildsheet is authentic.
Arlington did not begin GM A-body production until January 1970.
I have found a few Arlington built Chevelles out there with original buildsheets, but not many.Their coding system was unique,as well as their processing/dating tactics.
Arlington Tx. plant was a brand new facility for the 1970 GM A-bodies,so probably due to workers error, not as many vehicles received them as compared to other assembly plants, but some did receive them.
When these buildsheets are found, they are most likely found underneath the sound deadner that was applied to the floor.Aim for the drivers side floor first, then work your way out and around from there.
It is not unheard of to find these under the seat springs, header fabric and behind door panels etc. too..unless your Dennis Cumby.

That LS-6 is the real deal. The build sheet looks exactly like mine that I pulled from under the tar barrier on the pass. side of the car. The last 3 digits in box 10 will match the last 3 digits on the cowl tag next to the build date and Arlington was the only plant that used this tracking method.

I couldn't agree more, I wish I had the 99K for this car. This car is about as unmolested as you could ever find and it has great paperwork to go with it.

I had an Arlington built 70 LS5 454 Chevelle that had a legit buildsheet. Mine was badly soiled but still readable. I think it came from under the carpet.
