Default OER cluster housing

I have one 69 Camaro with OER cluster housing fits bad around the steering column very close on pass side of column. No way to move it over and column is all the way to the left. I/m heseitant to buy one for another car due to the fitment. Does anyone else make these cluster housings?

D&R does their own and it fits well. Pegs to mount wiper switch required a bit of engineering but not bad.

I had the same experience with the D & R 69 cluster. I had to modify the wiper mounting.

Bought an OER unit a few years back - fit perfectly.

Hey William. Is the D&R dash carrier precut for a center guage?

I'd guess the factory modified them as needed for the clock or fuel guage.

Thanks.

No, not cut for a clock. Requires some careful drilling/cutting/filing. Do not want to damage the graining.

Yup, factory trimmed them as needed.

I trimmed one years ago for a clock. What a PITA trying to cut that out as any type of power tool melts the plastic and gums up the blades. I am told the new one from OER is now precut for center clock/fuel and has tach cutout as well, and it's supposed to fit well. They are priced at just over $400 at HBC

not sure where Heartbeat gets theirs, but they provide the cutouts that you want.
