Default Yellow 69 Baldwin Motion Camaro

Hello everyone!!! I have seen alot of books and magazine articles on Otis Chandlers 69 Green Phase 3 Camaro. My question concerns a Yellow 69 Pase 3 Camaro that was owned by Milton Robson in the late 80's or early 90's. Pictures and info on that car are almost nonexistent. Other than a short glimpse of the car on Speedvisions' Muscle Car show and a small picture in a 13 year old magazine I have found no additional info on this beautiful car. Anybody out there have any links or sources where I can get pictures on this bad boy? Is that the same yellow car made reference to in that other thread about 454s' in 69 Camaros? Thanks!

There was a feature on this car in the very early '80's in Super Chevy magazine. The original owner still had it. It had Cragar SS's on it at the time instead of the American 5 spokes. Told story about how he ordered the car when he was in Vietnam and his dad picked the car up for him from Motion. Dad told him the car had lot's of "pep"!!

The car is on the cover of the March 1990 "Muscle Cars". It's now in Kevin's collection: http://www.corvettes-musclecars.com/...dwin/index.htm

While we are on the subject of 69 Phase Three Camaros, here is another one. I hope nobody is getting tired of all of these magazine articles.
Anyway, this is a 69 Phase Three Camaro from Rodder and Super Stock, September 1969. It is very unusual and nice, because of the color photos. This also means that it will load slowly if you are using a modem, sorry. Photo six is not part of the test, it is a separate ad from the same magazine. Click on the links to see the pages of the article.

nice article bbdon. The Daytona Yellow Motion Camaro featured on Speedvision had a 454 installed by Motion. This is not the same car as the one in Kevin's collection, although they appear to be very similar.

Yes, I have a whole bookcase full of old magazines. Mostly I have saved stuff that has a big block Chevy test or ad somewhere inside. Let me know if you are interested in a specific model or engine and I will look. Do you like 67 Baldwin/Motion Camaros?

bbdon, anything is fine with me. I just like reading the vintage articles. How about that
Holley 1050 carb with gear drive and injector on page 38!
Maybe you could pic a car/tuner/engine or something and do a weekly or bi-monthly or monthly installment on the forum. Pick out some jazzy name for it or something......
something like "bbdon's blast from the past"
just an idea....

I noticed that carb setup too. Nice peice of puffery on Joel's part there. Looks like all four barrells of that huge carb open up at the same time. The "injector" part looks like a big accelerator pump to me. No surprise that he had to add a huge accelerator pump to fill in the bog with all four barrells opening at the same time, but calling it gear drive and injectors sounds like over promotion to me. He was selling the same modified carb setup for 124.95 in that month's ad. Hmmm, no mention of gas mileage.
Sometimes it pains me to see how he modified those cars back then. Its because I have spent so many weeks crawling through junkyards (in the rain usually) looking for stock stuff to put back on.
About the articles, I have already posted quite a bit over the last few months. Did you miss anything?

I thought I had posted some 68 Harrell Nova stuff too, but I cant seem to find it now.
I will keep putting up new things every now and then as I get the spare time. I don't have an unlimited supply though. (of time or good material) But I will post that 67 Motion tonight if I can get it ready.
