I think you could cut out the grill area Square to match assembly line.

The missing louvers are easily added with some simple drilling, sawing and filing.

Reproduction dash tops don't have the correct VIN opening nor do they have the speaker slots which appear to have a raised edge like a louver. 28 slots (7 on each corner) to drill saw and file would be a PITA however there are relatively few alternatives.
I would use it in a heartbeat if I needed a LOT of the dash to replace.
