"A VERY METICULOUS RESTORATION WITH NO EXPENSE SPARED" greasy floor and crossmember that looks to have been painted right over the grease, same with the frame

x2. Appears to be the same size & font number & letter stamps used for both the 'Tonawanda' stamping and the CON VIN stamping, which was not the case for 1969 Chevelles. And of course, no perfect restoration is complete without the "CAUTION - FAN" sticker

The block has been decked & restamped. The transmission VIN stamp looks ok, the deck VIN stamp should match that as they were done using the same gang stamp.

Thanks Guys for all the comments....Sounds like this Chevelle has to many issues for me...Don't think its worth 69K ....I think I'm going to put my search for a 69 Camaro or Chevelle on hold for now...The good ones are hard to find and when you do find one, the prices is through the roof....So much for that bucket list item.....Thanks Again....
Ron

Oh wow, I don't know why they even bothered. I think my wife could spot that one as a fake.
